Probity Action Foundation PAF exists to empower handicap ones in the rural, per-ruban and urban, most vulnerable especially women economically through provision of micro-loans for micro-enterprises, promote disability inclusiveness, empower women and girls with disabilities, assistive skills training, capacity building to better their livelihood.
Probity Action Foundation PAF was incorporated as a financial non-governmental organization (FNGO) under the laws of the Republic of Ghana in February 2021 to promote Financial Inclusion, provide Financial Support, Disability Inclusiveness, women and girls with disabilities empowerment and Business Advisory Services to poor women Groups and small business owners. It is a Department of Social Welfare recognized and an organization limited by guarantee. The Organization was founded by Gideon Apeni Cudjoe and Festus Adu Attafuah. In general, the organization compassionately assists mostly women by supporting them with micro loans, business advisory/training services; promote disability inclusiveness and motivational seminars to transform their lives.
Probity Action Foundation PAF primarily uses the Grameen Bank model, developed by Nobel Peace Award winner, Muhammad Yunus and modified to suit our environment. The organization’s model is able to select the economically active and productive poor. These poor women have the potentials to work, pay back their loans and add to the productivity of the country and also to make the projects sustainable. They also have the urge to make a decent living for themselves and family if given the necessary support with flexible payment schedules, devoid of material collaterals. The Organization is to educate people about disability and the rationale to integrate them well into all level of society. Disability awareness aid in the reduction of society’s stereotyped thinking hence provide opportunities for every one including those with disability to participate in the creation of a positive environment and help develop the nation as a whole. The organization also solicits for new and used clothing including footwears from individuals, groups and agencies and give distribute same to the needy.
The Probity Action Foundation PAF’s headquarters is located in Dote-Kumasi close to the Airport, being the second capital city in Ghana, with a business oriented spirited. It has scheduled it to reach over 3000 families in Kumasi by the end of 2026 and over 10,000 families by the end of 2031, in collaboration with other stakeholders. Achieving this goal Probity Action Foundation PAF will expand its operations in 2026 to be young its initial operational areas in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The Organization has four (4) paid full-time employees and four (4) non-paid local volunteers who are highly trained and focused to execute the vision and mission of the organization.
